Here is something interesting you may want to try. Its an engine that you can use to combine any 2 UCI engines so that they work together to play as one engine. It has appeared on a couple of forums but I've described here in simple terms how you do it:
First you download and extract this and put it on a folder on your desktop called chesscombi:

Inside the chesscombi folder there are 2 folders called Engine 1 and Engine 2.
Now take any engine EXE - lets say Houdini for this example - take the Houdini EXE that you used to create your Houdini engine. You need to rename this to engine.exe so just right click on the EXE and overtype "Houdini xxx" with "engine" so that full name is now "engine.exe" with no spaces. Cut and paste that renamed EXE into the Engine 1 folder. Now take a Stockfish EXE that you used to create your Stockfish engine. You need to also rename this one to engine.exe so just right click on the EXE and overtype "Stockfish xxx" with "engine" so that full name is now "engine.exe" with no spaces. Put that renamed EXE inside the Engine 2 folder.
Now double click on the chesscombiVI.exe. it should run through in a black window showing that both houdini and Stockfish can open. Now leave this open and running.
Now you can use the ChesscombiVI.exe to create a UCI engine from using Fritz in the usual way. Load this as an engine and it will use both Houdini and Stockfish to play its moves. It will appear as as engine called "Combi" in your list of engines.
MPORTANT: Don't try to copy the EXE anywhere away from the engine 1 and 2 folders else it won't work you have to keep them together. You have to keep it all together.
